The Hillbillies are a great bunch of blokes who play primarily for the enjoyment of the game with a little bit of competitiveness thrown in.  We don’t formally train, other than a pre-season session to get the shoulders warmed up and remember how to use the bat! However, we do a post-match analysis over a well-deserved beer, recount the day’s highlights (and mishaps!) and award player of the match.

 

Our home ground is Kostera Oval in Kalamunda with approximately half the team being local to the area.  Our first season in the MVCA commenced in 2008/09 though we didn’t pick up “The Burl” until the 2018/19 season, and now have three premierships to the Hillbillies name.  Whilst not the focus of the team, it is nice to win!
